The New Delhi Municipal Council proposes to fill-up 01 post of Chief Engineer (Civil) in the Pay Scale of Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600 level 13A in revised 7th CPC pay matrix on deputation basis,

3. Salary: Pay Scale of Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600 level 13A in revised 7th CPC pay matrix

4. Eligibility: Officers under the Central/States Govts./UTs/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Govt./ Autonomous or Statutory Organizations:-

a. (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis;or

(ii) With 02 years regular service in posts in the Scale of Rs. 1,18,500- 2, 14,100 level 13 in 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent; or

(iii) With 07 years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 78,800- level 12 in 7th CPC pay matrix; and.

b. Possessing a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with 14 years experience in Civil Engineering works.

5. (The departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.)

6. [Period of deputation / contract including period of deputation contract in another Ex-Cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization / department of the Central Government shall ordinary not exceed three years.

7. Tenure:

Initially for a period of 01 year extendable as per policy of the Govt. in vogue. As per consolidated instructions on deputation issued by DoPT vide O.M. dated 17.06.2010, a person drawing salary in higher grade cannot be appointed on deputation basis in the lower post.
