Number of Vacancy: 6 Posts

Educational Qualification: B.Sc, Diploma, ITI, 12TH, 10TH

Applications in Standard Format are invited from eligible and interested candidates who are citizens of India defined in Articles 5-8 of the Constitution (preferably who knows Garo Language) for consideration for appointment to the following posts in the Digital Planetarium at NEHU Campus, Tura under Shillong Science Centre on contract basis for a period of 1 (one) year. Qualification, experience and other requirements for the posts are shown hereunder:

1. Educational Assistant 1 Post - R20,000/-


2. Qualification Graduates in Science (PCM) with knowledge in Computer.

3. Experience Teaching science in schools/ involvement in science popularisation activities in an institution of repute with preferable in Astronomy.

1. Technician (Electronics) - 1 Post - R15,000/

2. Qualification - ITI Electronics with 3 years experience/Diploma in Electronics/Biomedical Electronics engineering) with knowledge in Compute.

3. Experience Should have atleast three year relevant experience after obtaining the certificate preferably with typing skills.

1. Peon (Multi-tasking) - 1 Post - R10,000/-

2. Qualification - HSSLC passed

3. Experience - should have driving licence and knowledge of Computer.

1. Cleaner (Multi-tasking) - 1 Post - R8000/-

2. Qualification - SSLC passed

3. Experience - should have experience in gardening.

1. Chowkidar (Multi-tasking) - 2 Posts - R8000/

2. Qualification SSLC passed

3. Experience - should have atleast (1) one year of Security work experience and should have driving license.
