OSSC Group B & C Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 124 Posts

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released an indicative notification for the recruitment of 124 Group B and Group C posts. Candidates holding qualifications such as +2 (Arts/Science/Commerce) and Vocational Training in Fisheries are eligible to apply. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Amin

• Essential: +2 Arts/Science/Commerce or such other qualification as are equivalent to the +2 examination. Certificate on basic Computer Application.

Eligibility for Junior Fisheries Extension Assistant

• Essential: Vocational Training (Fisheries) from CHSE/University.
• Desirable: Must know swimming well. (Provided that when Vocational (Fisheries) is not available, Candidates with +2 Science qualification will be considered).

Eligibility for Junior Forensic Assistant

• Essential: +2 Science from a recognized Board or Institution.

Age Limit

As on 01.01.2025:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years
• Relaxation: Usual age relaxation for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, Ex-servicemen and PwD Category candidates as per rules.

Salary/Stipend

All selected candidates will be placed on Level-3, Cell-1 of ORSP, 2017 under the Group-C category. The pay scale follows the Odisha Revised Pay Structure 2017.

The selection shall be guided by Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts/Services Rules, 2022. This includes a written examination (Prelims/Mains) and/or Computer Skill Test, followed by Document Verification. Detailed syllabus and exam pattern will be published in the detailed advertisement.
