Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

Educational Qualification

• TGT (English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics, Science): Graduate with B.Ed (50% marks) with the respective subject as Elective/Main subject for 3 years OR CTET Paper-II qualified. CTET Paper-II preferred.
• Primary Teacher (PRT): 12th pass (50% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR 4-year B.El.Ed. OR CTET Paper-I qualified.
• Special Educator: 12th pass (50% marks) with D.Ed. Special Education or equivalent RCI recognized qualification AND CTET Paper-I qualified with valid RCI registration (CRR number).
• Sports Coach: 4-year integrated course OR Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (50% marks) OR Graduation with B.P.Ed. (50% marks). Representation at state/national level in SAI recognized sports desirable.
• Regional Language (Odia) Teacher: Graduation in Odia (50% marks) with B.Ed. from a recognized university with Odia as an Elective subject at the Degree level.
• Nurse: Diploma in Nursing / ANM / GNM / B.Sc in Nursing with valid registration. Experience preferred.
• Computer Instructor: BE/B.Tech (Computer Science) / BCA / MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science/IT) / B.Sc (Computer Science/IT) OR Bachelor's Degree with PGDCA OR Post-Graduate Degree with PGDCA/O-Level/A-Level.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 65 years as on 31-03-2026.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation up to 5% in CTET qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Mandatory Requirements

• Competency to teach through both English and Hindi medium required for teaching posts.
• Knowledge of computer applications is desirable for teaching posts.
• Candidates with Special B.Ed. are not eligible for TGT posts.
• Candidates with D.Ed. (Special Education) are not eligible for PRT post.
