Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Com, M.Sc, MBA/PGDM, MCA

Online Applications are invited for 1 (one) post in the state level and 44 (forty four) posts in the district level purely on Contractual/Temporary basis under Social Assistance Programmes and PMAY-G programme under the Office of the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam as stated below:

1. Position: State Finance Officer

2. No of Post: 01

3. Educational qualification: M.Com/ MBA with Specialization in Finance/ Accounting from a recognized Institute/ University with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

4. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification working experience with industry or in government sector in similar job profile.

5. Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- + Applicable Allowances will be provided

 

1. Position: Assistant District Programme Manager (ADPM) under Social Assistant Programmes/PMAY -G

2. No of Post: 44

3. Educational qualification: Degree in Engineering (CSE/IT)/MCA/M.Sc (IT/CS) from any recognized University or institution with minimum 60 % marks.

4. Work Experience: Minimum 3 years post qualification work experience in the field of Information Technology (IT)/Management Information System (MIS)

5. Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- + Applicable Allowances will be provided

Selection Procedure

The posts have been created under Social Assistance Programmes and PMAY-G program of Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam. Interested candidates having requisite educational qualifications and experience, and qualifying the age criteria may apply for the positions. Applications are to be submitted online before 6:00 PM of 30th April 2022. Incomplete applications shall not be considered.

The Panchayat and Rural Development Assam was established by the Assam Government in the year 1952.The erstwhile Panchayat and Rural Development have been merged into one Department in the name and style as Panchayat & Rural Development from 1st July in the year 1989. Assam was one of the States in India to reacted Panchayat Act and started the Panchayati Raj in the State when the Act of Assam Rural Panchayat was passed, in the year 1948.

The motto of Panchayat and Rural Development was for upliftment of the rural people in Assam State.The Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam works largely to increase the day- to-day necessities of life by getting opportunity, provides social security and works for economic inclusion of rural and poor families.

The Panchayat & Rural Development Department is trying to implement different number of programmes that provides help in the rural area of the State by giving power of rights based on law, and that aims to change the of poverty in the State.

The Panchayat & Rural Development Department try to implement the Rural Development Programmes at State level and by the Zilla Parishad at the District level.

The Panchayat & Rural Development Department perform activities that are implemented through Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). The Panchayat and Rural Development Department mainly implements MGNREGA, IAY, NSAP, RGPSA, BRGF, DDP schemes that are provided through Panchayati Raj Institutions(PRIs.)
