Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk in Interview to fill up the purely temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (One) under SERB-DST Project (No. EEQ/2020/000124) entitled “Development of Blast and Bacterial Blight Resistant fine grain rice varieties through marker assisted pyramiding of multiple genes” at Rice Research Centre, Agricultural Research Institute, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030.
i. The position is purely on temporary basis and for the duration of two years ending December, 2023, however, the posts may be terminated at any time as per the guidelines and budget release from SERB.
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow (1 No.)
2. Period: Two years (up to December 2023)
3. Qualifications: M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Plant Breeding / Pathology / allied disciplines OR M.Sc. Botany / Applied Botany with NET qualification
4. Desirable qualifications: Experience in filed work on rice, knowledge of computer applications and statistical software operations
5. Emoluments (Rs.): Rs. 31,000+24% HRA/month for 2 nd year; Rs. 35,000+24% HRA/month for 3 rdyear.

Selection Procedure
Interviews will be conducted as per the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Govt. of India and candidates are requested to take all necessary precautions wearing face masks, etc.
