Punjab Engineering College (PEC) has invited applications for a Walk-in-Interview to engage Temporary Faculty for the semester 2025-26 (2). This is an excellent opportunity for qualified academics to join the institute across various engineering and science departments. The interview schedule is spread over five days in January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Temporary Faculty

• Essential Qualification: First class Bachelor's and Master's Degree with PhD completed in the relevant discipline.
• Experience (if applicable): Meritorious candidates with PhD thesis submitted may be considered.
• Desirable: Specializations as given in Annexure-I (refer to official notification).

Salary & Benefits

• With PhD: Rs. 73,500/- per month (Consolidated).
• PhD Thesis Submitted: Rs. 67,500/- per month (Consolidated).
• Duties: Lectures, practicals, tutorials, paper checking, grading, examination duties, and other responsibilities assigned by HoD.

How to Apply & Selection Process

• Candidates must appear for the interview as per the schedule mentioned above.
• Documents Required: Hard copy of all relevant original documents, attested photocopies of each, and 5 sets of CVs.
• Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 09:30 AM in Senate Hall, 2nd Floor, Administrative Block. Latecomers will not be entertained.
• Screening: Preliminary screening may be conducted if the number of candidates is large.
• TA/DA will not be provided.
