Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Medical Consultant
- Essential Qualification:
- M.D. in General Medicine: Must be recognized by the Medical Council of India with at least 5 years of experience post-M.D.
- OR M.B.B.S.: Must have at least 7 years of experience as a registered Medical Practitioner.
- Preference: The Bank will prefer Doctors with an M.D. in General Medicine or those currently/previously empanelled with PSUs or Banks.
Terms of Contract & Remuneration
- Remuneration: Rs. 1,000/- per hour (all-inclusive).
- Working Hours: 8 hours per week (visiting days and timings to be fixed by the Bank).
- Period of Contract: Initially for two years, renewable for another two-year term based on satisfactory performance.
- Termination: The contract can be terminated by either side with two months' notice.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Provide free medical advice and consultation to Bank staff and their family members during prescribed hours.
- Scrutinize and certify medical, hospitalization, and ex-gratia medical bills for reimbursement.
- Offer medical opinions for special cases, such as sick leave, extraordinary leave, or transfer requests on medical grounds.
- Conduct medical checkups for new recruits.
- Prescribe medicines and suggest routine treatments during medical emergencies from their residence or clinic.
Selection Process
- Scrutiny: Applications will be scrutinized by the Bank.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email for an interview.
- Final Selection: Based on interview performance, selected candidates will receive an engagement letter via email.
