• Essential Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electronic & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
• Desirable: Construction work related to S&T; experience in tendering work; knowledge of computer.
• JGM Eligibility: Working in analogous posts, or a Group 'A' officer on regular posts in Pay Level 13/Level 12 of the IRSSE cadre of Indian Railways, or corresponding grade officers with 9 years Group 'A' or equivalent service on regular posts in the S&T Cadre of Central/State Government/PSUs/Statutory Authorities.
• DGM Eligibility: Working in analogous posts, or a Group A/B Gazetted officer in Pay Level 12/Level 11 from the Electrical/Electronics/S&T Engineering Cadre; or Degree holders with 6 years Group 'A'/'B' service; or Diploma holders with 15 years' service in the S&T Cadre.

Item 02: Joint General Manager (Project) / Deputy General Manager (Project)

• Essential Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• Desirable: Previous experience of planning & execution of land/estate; experience in organisations connected with land management; experience in tendering work; knowledge of computer.
• JGM Eligibility: Working in analogous posts, or a Group 'A' officer on regular posts in Pay Level 13/Level 12 of Indian Railways in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/S&T Engineering Cadre with 9 years Group 'A' service or equivalent.
• DGM Eligibility: Working in analogous posts, or a Group A/B Gazetted officer in Pay Level 12/Level 11 with Degree + 6 years service, or Diploma + 15 years experience.

Item 03: Manager / Assistant Manager (Projects)

• Manager Essential Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• Manager Eligibility: Working on analogous post or Group A/B Gazetted officer in Pay Level 11/10/09/08 (7th CPC). Experience: at least 5 years for Pay Level 11/10 (gazetted); at least 10 years for Pay Level 09/08 (gazetted).
• Assistant Manager Eligibility: Working in Civil/Electrical/S&T/Mechanical Engineering Cadre of Indian Railways/Central Govt./State Govt. on regular post in Pay Level-7 (7th CPC) or equivalent, with one of the following:
  • A Degree in Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering; OR
  • A Diploma in the above branches with 05 years of service; OR
  • ITI or equivalent of at least 02 years duration in any Engineering branch with 10 years of service.
• Desirable (both): Experience of working in organisation/area connected with land management; experience in tendering work; knowledge of computer.

IDA Pay Scale Equivalents for PSU Officers

• CDA Level-13 = IDA E-6 (₹90,000–₹2,40,000)
• CDA Level-12 = IDA E-5 (₹80,000–₹2,20,000)
• CDA Level-11 = IDA E-4 (₹70,000–₹2,00,000)
• CDA Level-10 = IDA E-3 (₹60,000–₹1,80,000)
