Skills / Eligibility
SAMEER is looking for suitable persons to be posted as site engineers at the hospitals located in Amravati in Maharashtra, Indore in MadhyaPradesh and Chennai in Tamilnadu. Preliminary training will be provided at SAMEER , Mumbai. i. These are contractual appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER 1. Post Name: Research Scientist 2. Essential Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech., ME/M.Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Tele- Communication/ Instrumentation etc with Minimum 55% Marks 3. Experience: Desirable more than five years working experience in the field of analog and digital circuits, signal conditioning and processing circuitry, FPGA based control electronics , high voltage systems,etc. Candidates with experience on medical linacs are preferable. 4. Remuneration: Research Scientists Rs 30,000 consolidated and yearly increment. 5. Duration: 2-Years or the duration of the project whichever is less 6. Advertisement No. 03 /2022

Selection Procedure
1. Candidates, who fulfil the prescribed qualifications and experience, will be asked to appear for an online test
2. The candidates who have qualified in the written test will be asked to appear for an online interview.
3. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
4. The date, time slot and web link for both the online test and interview will be communicated through the email id of the respective candidate.
5. It is in the interest of the candidate to furnish correct email id and mobile numbers for communication purpose.

SAMEER was set up as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH (TIFR), Mumbai. SAMEER, Mumbai was setup in 1984.
Centre for Electromagnetics, SAMEER Chennai which was under Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987.
Centre for Microwave & Millimeterwave, SAMEER Kolkata was set up in 1994.
Elecromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Laboratory, SAMEER Visakhapatnam was established in 2014.
Centre for High Power Microwave Tube and Component Technology, SAMEER Guwahati was established in 2015.
