Recruitment for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Incubation Manager. ASHINE (Association for Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship) Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat

1. Position: Chief Executive Officer

2. Essential:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University/Institute. Applicant having an additional degree of MBA or equivalent would be given due preference. or Bachelor's degree or higher in Science with an MBA or equivalent.

3. Experience: 

The applicant must have minimum 8 years of overall work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in the start-up sector, either as a start-up founder/co-founder /core team member and / or as a stakeholder of start-up ecosystem or in managing/administering a similar type of incubator or at least 2 years of industrial experience at senior management level.

4. Desirable:

• The applicant must have clear understanding of local, national and global start-up ecosystems  and the ability to find ways to collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders for advancing theobjectives of ASHINE.

• The applicant must possess a strong command on English language, preferably with suitable proficiency in Hindi and Gujarati languages and is expected to be well suited in conceptualising, compiling, and putting together papers, presentations, documents, proposals, etc.

• The applicant must have demonstrated interest to interact and connect with people and should preferably have a strong professional network in corporate/startup ecosystem.

4. Salary: Depending on the qualifications/experience, selected candidate will be offered salary in the range of Rs. 1.2 to 1.5 Lakh per month (all inclusive).

1. Position: Incubation Manager

2. Essential:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University/Institute. Applicant having an additional degree of MBA or equivalent would be given due preference. or Bachelor's degree or higher in Science with an MBA or equivalent.

3. Experience: 

The applicant must have minimum 4 years of overall work experience, with at least 2 years of experience in the start-up sector, either as a start-up founder/co-founder /core team member and / or as a stakeholder of start-up ecosystem or in managing/administering a similar type of incubator or at least 2 years of industrial experience at management level.

4. Desirable:

• The applicant must have clear understanding of local, national and global start-up ecosystems and the ability to find ways to collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders for advancing the objectives of ASHINE.

• The applicant must possess a strong command on English language, preferably with suitable proficiency in Hindi and Gujarati languages and is expected to be well suited in conceptualising, compiling, and putting together papers, presentations, documents, proposals, etc.

4. Salary: Depending on the qualifications/experience, selected candidate will be offered salary in the range of Rs. 50,000 to 70,000/- per month (all inclusive).
