Eligibility Criteria for ALIMCO Apprenticeship 2026

Candidates must be Indian Citizens. The detailed qualification requirements are as follows:

ITI Candidates

• Academic: Class 10 pass with Science & Mathematics (min 50% marks).
• Technical: NCVT/SCVT Certificate in relevant trade (min 50% marks).
• Portal Registration: Mandatory registration on www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
• PAN Card: Mandatory.

Diploma Candidates

• Academic: Class 10 pass with Science & Mathematics (min 50%).
• Technical: Full-time Diploma in relevant discipline (min 50% marks).
• Passing Year: 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 only.
• Portal Registration: Mandatory registration on www.nats.education.gov.in.

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 25 Years (General)
• Age Relaxation: OBC (3 Years), SC/ST (5 Years), PwD (10 Years).

Stipend & Training Details

The stipend is prescribed by the Government of India under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

• Monthly Stipend: As per Govt. norms (Revised from time to time).
• Training Duration: 1 Year.
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Employment: Apprentices are trainees and NOT guaranteed regular employment after training.

ALIMCO Selection Process 2026

The selection for apprenticeship training is done through a formal interview by a Selection Committee.

2. Shortlisting: Based on marks in qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma).
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates called for interview (21 days notice via Registered Post/Email).
