Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited trom the candidates having the required ell mentioned below, to be appointed as under the: 1. Position: Ombudsman 2. Qualification: The Ombudsman shall be among persons of eminent standing and impeccable integrity with at least ten years of experience in public administration, law, academics, social work or management as per documents furnished along with the application. Experience in working with people or community organization 3. Salary: The Ombudsman will be provided an office at District Panchayat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa. The necessary administrative and technical support will be provided by District Panchayat. The Ombudsman shall be allowed compensation of Rs.1000/- per sitting with upper limit of Rs.20,000/- and TA/DA for visits inspections etc. as per rules. 4. 4. The Ombudsman shall be appointed for a tenure of 2 years extendable not more than twice by one year each based on the performance appraisal process.
