Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Both posts share the same eligibility conditions. Candidates must satisfy either the MBBS route or the BAMS route:
- MBBS Qualification: Second Class or minimum 50% marks in MBBS degree completed within the prescribed period, with at least 3 years experience in a recognized and reputed nursing home or hospital. Additional medical qualifications are desirable. Candidate must produce a record of good service.
- BAMS Qualification: Second Class or minimum 50% marks in BAMS degree completed within the prescribed period, with at least 3 years experience in a recognized and reputed nursing home or hospital. Additional medical qualifications are desirable. Candidate must produce a record of good service.
Note: The consolidated pay differs by degree – MBBS holders receive Rs. 60,000/month and BAMS holders receive Rs. 40,000/month. No allowances are applicable on the consolidated pay.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Mode: Direct Walk-in Interview at the specified venue.
- Basis: Selection purely on merit of candidates attending the interview.
- Reservation Clause: Appropriate representation will be given to SC/ST candidates as per rules.
- Documents: Candidates must carry the filled application format with two copies and all original qualification documents with two copies. Two bound sets of attested documents are compulsory.
- Advance Application: Applications must NOT be sent in advance under any circumstances.
- TA/DA: Candidates attend at their own expense. No TA/DA will be paid by the University.

- Application in the prescribed format (Annexure) with two copies, duly filled and signed
- Passport-size photograph pasted in the designated box on the application form
- All original documents related to qualification (MBBS/BAMS degree, consolidated mark sheets, experience certificates)
- Two copies of all qualification and experience documents
- Two bound sets of attested documents (compulsory at interview)
- Valid Category / Caste Certificate in prescribed format (for reserved category candidates)
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
Important: The engagement is temporary for up to 179 days. The appointee may be removed without assigning reasons. The appointment confers no right to a permanent post at UAS Dharwad. Before joining, the selected candidate must submit an undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper in prescribed Format-TR-2.
