Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited in prescribed format for University Research Fellowship from the eligible candidates enrolled in different Departments as well as Centres of University of Calcutta. 1. Post Name: Research Fellowship 2. This fellowship is funded by the Government of West Bengal vide G.O. no. 01(19)-Edn(U)/1U10/94 dated Kolkata 4th January, 2016. The amount of fellowship is consolidated Rs. 18,000/- p.m. for JRF and Rs. 20,000/- for SRF 3. Eligibility: Enrollment in Ph.D. programme under University of Calcutta. Successful qualification in NET/GATE/SET Examination. 4. The duration of the fellowship is for 4(four) years only, extendable up to one more year only in deserving cases. 5. The selected fellows will generally be treated as per UGC guidelines unless the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal revises or introduces any further rules regarding this fellowship.

The complete application along with requisite documents duly attested by the HOD/ Director/ Co-ordinator must be submitted to the DPO office not later than 20.01.2022.
