Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant in the project sanctioned by the Jammu and Kashmir Science, Technology and Innovation council (UT of J&K). The application form must be accompanied with complete CV and attested copies of necessary qualifications/ experience certificates /testimonials. 1. Post Name: Project Assistant 2. Project Title: Development of simple sequence repeat markers in wild pomegranate and their cross species 3. No of Post: 01 4. Duration: The position is initially for a period of one year extendable to two years or co-terminus with the project. The appointment of Project assistant will be purely temporary, time bond, non regular; the candidate has no legal right to claim his/ her regularization/a ointment. 5. Salary: Rs 10,000 pm (consolidated) 6. Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry with minimum of 60% marks and a good academic record.
Pay Scale: INR 10000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and venue of the interview telephonically/through email. No separate interview letters will be issued.
2. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview or joining of the post and the candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay and travel. The rules and regulations laid by JK-DST will be adhered to.
