University of Jammu Invites Application for Project Assistant Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant in the project sanctioned by the Jammu and Kashmir Science, Technology and Innovation council (UT of J&K). The application form must be accompanied with complete CV and attested copies of necessary qualifications/ experience certificates /testimonials.

1. Post Name: Project Assistant

2. Project Title: Development of simple sequence repeat markers in wild pomegranate and their cross species

3. No of Post: 01

4. Duration:

The position is initially for a period of one year extendable to two years or co-terminus with the project. The appointment of Project assistant will be purely temporary, time bond, non regular; the candidate has no legal right to claim his/ her regularization/a ointment.

5. Salary: Rs 10,000 pm (consolidated)

6. Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry with minimum of 60% marks and a good academic record.

Selection Procedure

1. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and venue of the interview telephonically/through email. No separate interview letters will be issued.

2. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview or joining of the post and the candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay and travel. The rules and regulations laid by JK-DST will be adhered to.
