VIT University Invites Application for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2021

Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Science and Technology funded in School of Electrical Engineering [SELECT] Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

2. Title of the Project :“Intelligent Off grid systems for Energy sustainable Village”.

3. Qualification :B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering +M.E./M.Tech in Power Electronics with minimum of 70% in both UG and PG from recognized University/ Institute.

4. Desirable (if any) :

a) Demonstrated knowledge on design of Power Electronic DC-DC Converters

b) Hands-on experience on Embedded C programming of any microcontroller, PSPICE, KICAD, MATLAB

c) Fabrication of power electronic converters and its implementation in real time.

5. Stipend :JRF @ Rs.25,000/- pm plus 10% HRA

6. Duration :1 year

Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at a later date which will be intimated by email.

2. The selected candidate will be expected to join at the earliest.
