PostShortlisting Criteria

Each department finalises exact criteria on the recommendation of ACoFAR with the Director's approval. Screening committees may add further criteria that bind applicants. Eligibility is judged on the closing date for online applications (28 November 2026).

Stage 2 – Document Verification & Written Examination

  • Shortlisted candidates report to the IIIT Pune campus (Talegaon, Pune) with all original documents, two sets of self-attested photocopies, and a signed PDF copy of the online application form.
  • Only candidates whose documents are successfully verified may appear for the written test.
  • Written Examination: Offline at IIIT Pune. Multiple-choice questions. Negative marking of 1/4 mark may apply for wrong answers.
