About the Recruitment

The Centre for Biomedical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016, has invited applications for one position of Research Associate under the project titled "Electrical Stimulated 3D-Bioprinted Small-Diameter Adipose Derived Stem Cells Vascular Graft for Enhanced Vascular Network Formation" (RM00113G_SN), funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, formerly known as the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB).

The Project Investigator is Prof. Neetu Singh at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering. The appointment is on a purely contractual basis and will be renewable yearly or up to the project duration of 17 March 2029, whichever is earlier. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Research Associate (01 Post)

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related subject.
• Publications: Minimum of 2 published papers in Scopus-indexed journals.
• Technical Experience: Proven experience in molecular biology and in-vivo (animal) work.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals may apply.
• Age Limit: Not specified in the notification.
• Relaxation: A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process & Short-Listing Clause

1. Application Submission: Candidates must submit the filled Form No. IRD/REC-4 via email to Prof. Neetu Singh by 17 November 2026, 5:00 PM.
2. Short-Listing: IIT Delhi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing candidates beyond the minimum advertised qualifications, based on the project requirements. Meeting the basic eligibility does not guarantee an interview call.
3. Short-List Display: Names of short-listed candidates and online interview details will be published at http://ird.iitd.ac.in/shortlisted.
4. Online Interview: Only short-listed candidates will be informed about the schedule and mode of the online interview. The interview date is not specified in the notification.
5. Document Verification: Selected candidates will be required to produce original documents at the time of joining as applicable.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
