Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Consultant (Subject Matter Expert):
- Must be a retired Indian National.
- Qualification: NDC Course or equivalent, with specific expertise in National Security & Strategies.
- Profile: A practitioner-scholar, preferably with a PhD, possessing an outstanding professional record in national security establishments and a distinguished academic/publishing record.
- Experience: Necessary teaching and research assignments in India and/or abroad.
- Knowledge: Sound knowledge of the national security system and the ability to mentor operational practitioners.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Applications will be screened by a Screening-cum-Selection Committee comprising three members: The Commandant, NDC (Chairman), the Senior most Senior Directing Staff, NDC (Member), and the Secretary, NDC (Member). The Committee will hold personal interaction with shortlisted candidates if required. Selection is purely on merit. The decision of the Committee is final.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for the selection process. Domestic official travel during engagement will be reimbursed as per entitlement of the retired grade.
