Note: Approximate CTC is Rs. 11.00 Lakhs per annum during training and Rs. 22.50 Lakhs per annum after regularization.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Full Time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) degree from a recognized University/Institute in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

• GATE Requirement: Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the corresponding paper of GATE 2027.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 31.03.2027. Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Screening: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE 2027 score.
2. Further Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will undergo Group Discussion and/or Interview as per the detailed notification.
3. Document Verification: Original documents will be verified.
4. Medical Examination: As per POWERGRID's medical fitness standards.
5. Service Agreement: Selected candidates must execute a service agreement bond to complete training and serve for at least three years post-absorption.
6. Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending any stage of the selection process.

• GATE 2027 Admit Card and Score Card.
• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
• All original degree and consolidated mark sheets for the qualifying educational qualification.
• Valid Category/Caste Certificate (OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST) in the prescribed Central Government format, if applicable.
• Two recent passport-size photographs and valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card).
• Experience certificates (if applicable).

During the one-year training, the pay scale is Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA) with an approximate CTC of Rs. 11 Lakhs per annum. After absorption, the E2 scale is Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA) with an approximate CTC of Rs. 22.50 Lakhs per annum, plus other benefits.
