Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification

• Option 1: B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognised University.
• Option 2: GNM from a recognised University with at least one (1) year of experience in a relevant field.

Essential Experience

• Candidate must have experience in clinical training in antenatal care with skills relevant to maternal health.
• Experience must be gained after obtaining the minimum educational qualification.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in clinical research in the maternal and child health domain.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Experience in performing anthropometry and blood pressure monitoring for pregnant women.
• Knowledge of electronic data collection tools and proficiency in Excel.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Base Age Limit: 35 years (as on interview date).
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• PwBD (UR): 10 years | PwBD (OBC): 13 years | PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• Central Govt. Servants: Up to 5 years as per Central Government instructions.
• Ex-servicemen: As per Defence Forces service + 3 years (min 6 months attested service).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for THSTI Staff Nurse will be conducted entirely at the venue on 13 November 2026.

2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: Candidates will be evaluated through a combination of these modes.
3. Screening Clause: If a large number of applications is received, the Institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on higher or relevant qualification and experience to limit the number appearing for the test/interview.
