Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Engineering graduate in Mining Machinery, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
• Experience: Must be a Retired E-8/E9 grade executive of Excavation discipline from CIL/Subsidiary Companies or an equivalent PSU/Government Autonomous organisation.
• Detailed Experience Required:
  • Extensive work experience in HEMM maintenance and management for at least 25 years in Opencast Mining Projects.
  • Leadership roles in policy-making at corporate level/Head Quarters of CIL/its subsidiaries/any PSU in the capacity of Head of the department (Excavation/Mechanical) for a minimum of 1 year, with experience in HEMM procurement and review.
• Knowledge & Desirable Experience: Sound knowledge of DGMS regulations, CIL/BCCL policies, HEMM management, and statutory guidelines. Proven experience in integrating technical mining expertise with excavation planning and productivity improvement.
• Note: VRS optees will not be considered. Cut-off date for eligibility is 30 September 2026.
