Academic Qualifications by Cadre

Post Cadre Essential Educational Qualifications Experience & Special Requirements
Professor Ph.D. in relevant engineering or scientific field with First Class B.E./B.Tech & M.E./M.Tech. Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 3 years as Associate Professor; proven Ph.D. guidance.
Associate Professor Ph.D. with First Class in Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering/Technology. Minimum 8 years of post-qualification teaching or industrial research experience; minimum 7 SCI/Scopus journal papers.
Assistant Professor Ph.D. in appropriate branch with First Class Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Demonstrated research capability with quality publications; prior teaching/post-doctoral experience preferred.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) First Class M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in relevant branch. Valid GATE or CSIR-UGC NET qualification score is mandatory.
Technical Officer First Class B.E. / B.Tech or M.Sc in relevant scientific trade. Minimum 2 to 3 years hands-on experience in research laboratories or test instrumentation.
Junior Secretarial Assistant 12th Standard Pass from a recognized board or Bachelor's Degree. Typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on computer; basic MS Office proficiency.
