• Mining Engineering: Mine Development and Surveying, Surface and Underground Mining Methods, Geomechanics and Ground Control, Mine Ventilation and Environmental Engineering, Explosives, Blasting technology, Mine Legislation and Safety under the Mines Act 1952 and Coal/Metalliferous Mines Regulations (MMR 1961).
