Rajasthan SET Merit List 2026 – How Was It Prepared?

The Rajasthan SET 2026 Merit List (qualified candidates' roll numbers) was prepared through the following official process:

Marking Scheme Used

Normalisation for Geography and Physical Education

Because the Geography and Physical Education examinations were conducted in two shifts, the University of Kota applied a scaling technique using the mean and standard deviation of marks across shifts:

• Geography: Shift I designated as the standard shift.
• Physical Education: Shift II designated as the standard shift.
• If the scaled score exceeds 300, marks are restricted to 300.

The final answer key was published on 6 November 2026 after incorporating candidate objections raised against the earlier answer key released on 5 October 2026. The merit list was then generated based on the final answer key evaluation and subject-wise cut-off thresholds.

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in Annexure I of the result PDF have provisionally qualified the State Eligibility Test.
