The Reserve Bank has significantly revised the salary for the 2026 cycle:
- Basic Pay: ₹29,000 (Revised from ₹24,050).
- Gross Monthly Emoluments: Approximately ₹58,514 (without HRA).
- Perks: Reimbursement for petrol (official vehicle), newspaper, briefcase, book grant, and concessional loans for housing/education.
Preparation Strategy
- Mock Tests: Attempt at least 2 full-length mocks per week to build stamina for the 135-minute Mains exam.
- Speed & Accuracy: Prelims is a race against time. Practice daily with 15-minute section-wise quizzes.
