Number of Vacancy: 5 Posts

Educational Qualification: BDS, B.Tech/B.E, MBBS, BVSC, 12TH, M.Sc, MS/MD, DMLT, MLT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to be appointed purely on temporary contractual basis in the DHR-ICMR funded VRDL for the following posts:

1. Position: Research Scientist (B) (Medical)

2. No of Post : 01

3. Salary : Rs. 56000 + HRA (Rs. 64000/- approximately)

4. Essential Qualifications: MBBS with registration recognized by MCI Or BDS (Dentistry) / B. V. Sc (Veterinary Sciences) degree with registration recognized by DCI / VCI with one year experience

5. Desirable Qualifications: i. MD / MDS / M.V.Sc in a related subject from a recognized university ii. PhD in a related subject from a recognized institute iii. Additional Postdoctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s) iv. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in virology / molecular diagnostics related laboratory work, NABL accreditation, and knowledge of computer applications. v. Two years Research experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification. vi. Higher qualification & experience more than the essential qualification in the relevant discipline will be an advantage for shortlisting.

1. Position: Research Scientist B (Non - Medical)

2. No of Post : 01

3. Salary : Rs. 56000 + HRA (Rs. 64000/- approximately)

4. Essential Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: 1st class Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university Or 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized university

5. Desirable Qualifications: i. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in virology / molecular diagnostics / genetics related laboratory work, NABL accreditation process, and knowledge of computer applications ii. Two years Research experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification. iii. Higher qualification & experience more than the essential qualification in the relevant discipline will be an advantage for shortlisting.

1. Position: Laboratory Technician

2. No of Post : 02

3. Salary : Rs. 20000 + HRA (Rs. 24000/- approximately)

4. Essential Qualifications: MSc MLT / BSc MLT / DMLT with one year experience Or MSc. Microbiology / MSc. Biotechnology or relevant subject with formal training in methods related to molecular diagnostics.

5. Desirable Qualifications: i. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in virology / molecular diagnostics related laboratory work, NABL accreditation, application of molecular methods and knowledge of computer applications. ii. Higher qualification & experience more than the essential qualification in the relevant discipline will be an advantage for shortlisting.

1. Position: Data Entry Operator

2. No of Post : 01

3. Salary : 20,000/- consolidated

4. Essential Qualifications: Graduate from a recognized University with knowledge of data entry work

5. Desirable Qualifications: i. Knowledge of Computer Applications with good typing skill for data entry work. ii. Experience in Data entry a medical diagnostic laboratory & store and inventory management. iii. Independent communication skills in English language with knowledge of gene & following up physical e-file noting’s in Government/PSU/Healthcare industry sector. iv. High qualification & experience more than the essential qualification in the relevant discipline will be an advantage for shortlisting

1. Position: Multi Tasking Staff

2. No of Post : 01

3. Salary :18,000/- consolidated

4. Essential Qualifications: Higher secondary pass 12+ or equivalent from a recognized board.

5. Desirable Qualifications: i. Experience & recommendation of working in clinical laboratories in past. ii. Knowledge of infection control & handling of Biomedical waste. iii. High qualification & experience more than the essential qualification in the relevant discipline will be an advantage for shortlisting
