A total of 15 Faculty (Group-A) posts are available across 11 departments for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor positions at AIIMS Rewari.

Salary per Pay Level:

• Associate Professor: Level-13A1+ (Rs. 1,38,300 – Rs. 2,09,200 per month) plus allowances as per 7th CPC
• Assistant Professor: Level-12 (Rs. 1,01,500 – Rs. 1,67,400 per month) plus allowances as per 7th CPC

All posts carry usual allowances admissible to Central Government employees of similar status at Majra, Rewari, Haryana, including Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Applicants must be Indian citizens or persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955.

• Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology: Medical qualification under Schedule I & II of IMC Act 1956; MD in Anesthesiology or equivalent; 3 years teaching/research experience after qualifying degree.
• Assistant Professor of Anatomy (Medical candidates): Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956; M.D./M.S. in Anatomy or equivalent; 3 years teaching/research experience.
• Assistant Professor of Anatomy (Non-Medical candidates): Master's Degree in Anatomy; Doctorate degree from a recognized University; 3 years teaching/research experience after Doctorate.
• Assistant Professor of Biochemistry (Medical candidates): Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956; MD in Biochemistry or equivalent; 3 years teaching/research experience.
• Assistant Professor of Biochemistry (Non-Medical candidates): Master's Degree in Biochemistry or Medical Biochemistry; Doctorate degree; 3 years teaching/research experience.
• Assistant Professor of General Medicine: Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956; MD in Medicine or equivalent; 3 years teaching/research experience.
• Assistant Professor of General Surgery: Medical qualification under IMC Act 1956; M.S. in Surgery or equivalent; 3 years teaching/research experience.

Note: The essential qualification for Associate Professor remains the same as for the Assistant Professor of the respective discipline, along with additional required teaching/research experience.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Upper age limit: 50 years as on 7 November 2026 (last date of application submission). Even after relaxation, the age shall not exceed 55 years.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process for AIIMS Rewari Faculty (Group-A) recruitment consists of the following stages:

1. Screening / Written Test: A written test or screening based on objective criteria may be conducted to shortlist applicants for the interview. This stage is applicable when the number of eligible applicants exceeds the interview capacity.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted after screening will be called for a personal interview. The interview date and venue will be intimated separately by the competent authority.
3. Document Verification: Original documents and testimonials will be verified at the time of interview or after selection.

Important: Candidates must appear in person for the interview. No online interviews will be conducted. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the screening test or interview.
