B Ed is Bachelor's Degree in Education. B Ed equips candidates with teaching skills for high schools and primary schools. To pursue B Ed, one need to be graduate from a recognized university in science, commerce or arts stream. Commerce graduates will be teaching commerce subjects, whereas science graduates will teach science subject. Same applies for arts graduates too. Candidates pursuing B Ed are eligible for teaching jobs in government recognized Institutions up to 12th standard. Government keeps revising pay scales of teachers across India.
