Bank of Baroda has released the official notification for the recruitment of Financial Literacy Centre Counsellor (FLCC) on a contract basis. This recruitment is specifically for the Siddapur Center in the Uttar Kannad District under the Shivamogga Regional Office. Eligibility Criteria for Financial Literacy Centre Counsellor (FLCC)

Eligibility for FLCC Counsellor

• Essential Qualification: A graduate degree from a recognized University. Preference will be given to post-graduate degrees in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Social Work.
• Skills: Must be well conversant with the local language, possess flair for teaching, and have computer knowledge. Sound knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pension, law, finance, communication, and team building skills is required.
• Experience (Required - any one of the following):
  • Ex-banker with minimum 5 years of experience in any Nationalized Bank / RRB / Private Bank.
  • Persons with minimum 5 years of experience in banking/related fields, NBFCs / FIs.
  • Business Correspondent / BC-Coordinator with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Ex-RSETI Director / Faculty with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Age Limit: Maximum age at the time of appointment should not be more than 64 years, subject to good health.
• Residency: Should be a resident of the respective state (Karnataka), preferably from the same district (Uttara Kannada).

Salary / Stipend

• Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
• Conveyance Expenses: Maximum Rs. 5,000/- per month on a reimbursement basis (Total CTC: Rs. 30,000/-).
• Reimbursement is subject to the number of camps conducted:
  • Rs. 3,000/- if less than 10 camps are conducted per month.
  • Rs. 5,000/- if 10 or more camps are conducted per month.
• Statutory tax deductions will apply as per government rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the criteria mentioned in the notification. The appointment is on a contract basis for one year, renewable annually based on satisfactory performance and approval from Zonal/Regional Offices. The engagement is temporary and does not guarantee regular employment.
