BHEL invites applications for One Position of Senior Consultant in the area of Finance at its Heavy Power Equipment Plant, Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad. The position shall be based at Hyderabad and shall report to Unit Head, Hyderbad.

3. Emoluments:

a) The Senior Consultant will be paid a consolidated fee of Rs. 90,000/- per month. In addition, mobile phone charges (Upto Rs 2000) for one connection, Transport allowance at 10% of consultancy fee and Housing allowance as per applicable rates shall be admissible.

b) The facility of Company Accommodation (one level below the entitlement at the equivalent BHEL grade from which he/she has retired) can be allotted on payment of License fee and other charges as per Company rules. In such case, Housing Allowance will not be paid. Further, Senior Consultant shall be eligible for Site Allowance and TA/DA on official tours, as per rules.

4. Period of Engagement: The period of engagement shall be for one year which can be further extended by a period of upto one year at a time or till the completion of assignment (whichever is earlier). However, the maximum tenure shall be limited to five years or upto 65 years of age. (whichever is earlier).

5. Job Description: The Senior Consultant should provide Professional Advice/Assistance for specific assignments of Finance Department, BHEL, HPEP, Hyderabad, in the areas such as of material cost reduction, monetization of surplus/scrap inventory, inventory optimization, reduction in sub-contract cost, miscellaneous expenses reduction, identifying potential and increasing cash collection, increasing other operational income, unlocking of provisions, project cost control, productivity improvement, PI & DEEC Bond closure, settlement of IR paras and ensuring non conversion IR paras into DP.

6. Eligibility Criteria: Any retired executives of BHEL equivalent grade of E8 and above (i.e General Manager or above having retired from Payscale of Rs 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 & above) from PSUs/Autonomous Organizations /Central/State Government or Members of National Level Professional Institutions or any other organizations including Private sector (Listed Company), meeting following eligibility criteria can apply:

7. Qualification Requirements: The applicant must possess Bachelor’s degree with PG Diploma in Management from a recognized Institute or possessing CA/ICWA qualification.

8. Experience: The applicant should have minimum thirty years’ work experience of working in the areas of Financial Management in a Large Manufacturing set-up (as on 01st day of December, 2021).
