Central Board of Irrigation & Power (CBIP) was set up in the year 1927 by Government of India. The Board Providing Services to the professional organization, engineers, and individuals in the country related to Power, Water Renewable Energy Sectors.

The main objective of Board is to provide technical knowledge and information through training consultancy services providing research and professional excellence and promote linkages to Indian Engineers, Managers, and Scientists with their International Organization.

The Board conducting training program like Canal Lining, canal Regulation, Weed Problem in Canal and also covered design and construction of Dams and Tunnels, Assessment of design floods, Dam Safety, Instrumentation in Dam and other structures like, Tunnels, use of Hydrological Models, use of new material like, Geosynthetics for seepage control of water, etc.
