The Center for Advanced Financial Research and learning (CAFRL), Mumbai was set up by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). To improve Financial Services Sector and develop the Center into a world-class global institution for research and learning in Banking and Finance.

The main objective of Center for Advanced Financial Research and learning (CAFRL) Mumbai, is to enhance our understanding of how the financial sector contributing to real sector growth through in-house and collaborative research for relevant use. They providing a platform for dialogue between policy makers regulators, financial sectors practitioners and academics on financial issues.

The Center undertakes research, learning programmes useful for Central Banks, Regulators, Boards and Senior Management in the Financial System. They Conducting Research in following discipline such as Risk Management, Policy and Regulation, Leadership & Strategy, Governance, Financial Reporting, Business Strategy, Financial Markets, Bank Management, etc.
