Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Young Professional-II (YP-II):
- Master's degree in Biotechnology from a recognized university.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in handling instruments used in molecular biology research.
- Selected candidate should meet the required eligibility criteria on or before the last date of application.
- Age Relaxation: Age limit is 21 to 45 years as on 31 December 2025.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Application Screening: Screening and scoring of applications as per the prescribed scorecard (Total 100 Marks).
- Higher Secondary Percentage (max 10 marks), Gold Medal/Merit Scholarship (max 6 marks), Additional Qualifications/Experience (max 19 marks), NCC/NSS/Sports/Cultural (max 5 marks).
- Interview: 20 marks.
- Merit List: A merit list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the University website.
- Interview Shortlist: A maximum of 10 shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
- TA/DA: No TA and DA will be paid for the interview.
Pay, Terms of Engagement & Conditions
- Monthly consolidated emoluments of Rs. 42,000/-.
- Purely temporary and contractual engagement for a short-term period (Maximum tenure 1 year, extendable up to another 1 year based on performance).
- Two days casual leave per month (max 10 days paid casual leave in a calendar year).
- Competent Authority may terminate the appointment on one-month prior notice.
- No claim to regular appointment or permanent employment at the University; experience as YP-II provides no entitlement for regular posts.
