Consultancy Development Center (CDC), New Delhi was established in the year 1986. It is an autonomous Institution of Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The Center was formed for promotion, development and strengthening of Consultancy Skills and Capabilities in the Country including enhancement of export of consultancy and professional services. The Centre plays an important role in sensitizing client and user of Consultancy Services on various aspects including quality based selection, Consultancy Project Management, Negotiating and Drafting a Consultancy Contract.

The prime objective of Center is to create an awareness amongst the Government Agencies Connected with development work to use Consultancy Services on a regular basis for the utilization and application of Research & Development efforts, to focus attention on problems of development level, by this they promote growth of Consultancy Profession in the Country.

The Consultancy Development Center (CDC) offers various, courses & certificate programmes in the discipline of Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Consultancy Management / Technical Consultancy Management, etc.
