3. Eligibility:
(i) MA in Assamese / Sanskrit / Bengali / Hindi/ Oriya/ English with good academic career provided that the candidates other than those who have done MA in Assamese must have proficiency in Assamese high standard
(ii) Publications on Comparative Literature or Equivalent research work.
(iii) M.Sc .Life Sciences (Botany/ Zoology)/ M.Sc. Botany/ M.Sc. Zoology

Dibrugarh University was established in 1965 at Rajabheta. Dibrugarh district known internationally as a rich tea producing district is also known for its rich reserve of minerals like coal, oil, and natural gas. The territorial jurisdiction of Dibrugarh University covers seven districts of Upper Assam, viz, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Dhemaji, and Lakhimpur.
