Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Teacher (Lower Primary Level)
- Essential: Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Relaxation: 5% relaxation in academic marks (HSSLC or Graduation) for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH) candidates.
Eligibility for Teacher (Upper Primary Level)
- Essential: Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- At least 50% marks in Graduation + B.Ed.
- At least 55% marks in Post Graduation (or equivalent grade) + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks + 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
- Relaxation: 5% relaxation in academic marks for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH) candidates. PWD candidates must have a minimum 40% degree of handicap certified by competent authority.
Residency Requirement
- Essential: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
