Number of Vacancy: 13 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Training Officer (Hindi): Master's degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level; OR Master's degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level; OR Master's degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as a subject at the degree level.
Sports Officer: (A) (i) Degree from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Diploma in Physical Education from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent; OR (B) A degree in Physical Education from recognised University/Institute or equivalent.
Stenographer Grade-II:
1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; OR
2. Stenographer in the pre-revised scale of 4000-100-6000/- (now as per 7th CPC L-4, .25500-81100) with 8 years regular service in the grade.
Staff Car Driver:
(i) holding an analogous posts on regular basis;
(ii) with thirteen years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay band - 1; Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay Rs. 1900 or equivalent.
Upper Division Clerk:
(1) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis;
(2) With eight years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Pay Band -1; .5200-20,200 with Grade Pay of .1900/- (now as per 7th CPC L-2 Rs. 19900-63200) or equivalent.

25500-177500/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.

Directorate of Forest Education, Dehradun is a premier organization under the aegies of Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India which imparts training to State Forests Service Officers (SFS) and Forest Range Officers (FRO) in the country. The Directorate was part of the Forest Research institute and Colleges, Dehradun and remained responsible for professional and technical level training/education in the country.The post of DFE was created in 1953 under the FRI and Colleges to assist the President FRI.
The Directorate ensure "Standard and Quality" of forestry training in the country and in its current form, functions under direct administrative control of the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India to take care of all aspects of training of SFS officers and FROs. The Directorate also supplements the efforts of the State Government for the training of Frontline Forest Staff (Forest Guards, Foresters, Deputy Rangers).
