Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential: Engineering Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution of repute with a good academic record.
- Experience: Must have a proven track record of at least 24 years of completed Group 'A' / Executive Service in Railways, Railway PSUs, or Metro Rail Corporations.
- Specific experience of at least 5 years within the 24-year span is required in planning and construction of multi-disciplinary Railway projects (preferably Metro/MRTS in urban environments).
2. Age Limit & Relaxation

- Experience in underground constructions including tunnels.
- Experience in international contracts (planning, tendering, execution, commissioning).
- Knowledge of international funding institution requirements.
4. Pay Scale Requirements
Candidates must have worked in the pay scale of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 (IDA) or SA grade Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/- (Level 14, 7th CPC) with a minimum of 2 years service in this scale.
