Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Yoga Instructor (Male & Female)
- Essential Qualification: Secondary/Madhyamik passed from a recognized board. Certificate/Diploma in Yoga affiliated by West Bengal Council of Yoga and Naturopathy (WBCYN). The one-year Yoga and Naturopathy Certificate course run by WBCYN is covered under this criterion.
- Registration: Candidate must be registered with West Bengal Council of Yoga and Naturopathy (WBCYN).
- Residency: Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2025. Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government norms.
Salary / Stipend
- Yoga Instructor (Male): Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 8,000/- per month (calculated as 32 sessions @ Rs. 250/- per session).
- Yoga Instructor (Female): Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 5,000/- per month (calculated as 20 sessions @ Rs. 250/- per session).
- Engagement is purely contractual and temporary for AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres under National Ayush Mission, Cooch Behar.
Application Fee
- Unreserved Category: Rs. 100/-
- Reserved Category: Rs. 50/-
- Mode of Payment: Fee must be paid by Crossed Demand Draft in favour of “DH & FWS NON NHM MOTHER A/C COOCH BEHAR”. No other form of payment (Money Order, Cheque, or cash) is accepted.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list derived from the following criteria (Total 50 marks):
- Secondary/Madhyamik Examination: 15 marks
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Yoga: 15 marks
- Demonstration: 10 marks
- Interview: 10 marks

- Send the printout along with self-attested testimonials and the original Demand Draft to the Office of the CMOH (Ayush Wings), beside Circuit House, N.N. Road, Cooch Behar.
- The envelope should be superscribed with “Application for the post of Yoga Instructor (Male/Female)”.
- Ensure the documents reach by 21/01/2026.
