The Department of Medical Education and Research is contributing to the society not only by providing tertiary level health care services but also developing huge human resource in the form of doctors and paramedics; who are in future, going to strengthen the health care services in the state, country and worldwide. It is my proud privilege to Head this Department for achieving the goal and objective, the department aspired for. With all my ability, I will put all my efforts, so that the department may evolve as one of the best in its arena. If in my span of tenure, I would contribute even a bit in its development it would be an achievement in the field of Medical Education. Not only health care service but also to develop an atmosphere of research for the upcoming Medical students-would be my priorty, so that new heights of development in the medical field would be achieved by this department. Research being the most essential pillar of the Medical Education, it would be my prior objective to make research in the medical field an essential part.
