Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a Miniratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, has announced a recruitment drive for experienced professionals. ECIL is looking for dynamic personnel for the post of Executive Officer (Purchase) on Contract for its business verticals in Hyderabad. This is a direct recruitment process based on merit through document verification and a personal interview. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in material management and government procurement procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Category-1: Any Graduation with Background in Material Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Profile: Materials planning, inventory control, vendor management, supply chain management, procurement (domestic/import), GeM Portal usage.
• Category-2: Graduation in B.Tech./B.E. (Electrical/Civil) with background in Management/concluding contract for execution of works.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Profile: Purchase activities, hosting bids in GEM, Technical sanction, DSR, E-tendering, GST portal.
• Preferred Qualification: Master degree/PGDM in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management (reduces experience requirement to 3 years).

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years (for Unreserved category).
• Cut-off Date: Age and experience are calculated as of the date of selection (Walk-in date).

Age Relaxation

• OBC: 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwBD: 10 years (in addition to category relaxation) for minimum 40% disability.
• J&K Domicile: 5 years relaxation for candidates ordinarily domiciled in J&K between 01/01/1980 and 31/12/1989.

Relaxation in Qualifying Marks

• SC/ST Candidates: Aggregate percentage requirement relaxed from 60% to 50%.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be done through a multi-stage process. No written exam. Candidates must report at the venue for registration and document verification.

Selection Stages

1. Document Verification: Original certificates and self-attested copies must be presented.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates after verification will be interviewed.

Merit Calculation Criteria

The final merit list will be prepared based on the following weightage (Total 100 marks):

Important Note: Apprenticeship (max 1 year) is considered as experience. Academic/Internship experience is excluded.

3. Fill out the application form and prepare a Resume.
4. Arrange the following documents (Original + One set self-attested photocopies):
   • 10th Certificate/SLC (for DOB proof).
   • Qualification Certificates & Marksheets.
   • CGPA to Percentage conversion certificate (if applicable).
   • Experience Certificates (clearly mentioning duration and post held).
   • Currently employed candidates: Copy of Appointment Order & recent pay slips are mandatory.
   • Category Certificate (EWS/OBC/SC/ST). Note: OBC certificate must not be older than 1 year and must mention Non-Creamy Layer status.
   • Identity Proof (Govt. issued: Aadhar, Passport, etc.).
   • PwBD/Ex-Serviceman/J&K Domicile certificates (if claiming relaxation).
5. Report to the venue on 20-Feb-2026 between 09:00 Hrs and 11:30 Hrs.
6. Registration closes at 11:30 Hrs. Late entry is not allowed.
