Educational Qualification

• TGT (General): Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks + B.Ed from recognized university. CTET Paper-II essential for Panel-I.
• TGT (English): English as Elective/Main subject for 3 years/6 semesters; Knowledge of Computer Applications desirable.
• TGT (Social Science): Studied any two of History, Geography, Economics, Political Science (one must be History/Geography); Computer knowledge desirable.
• TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit): Hindi/Sanskrit as Elective/Main subject for 3 years/6 semesters; Computer knowledge desirable.
• TGT (Maths/Physics): Maths (3 years), Physics (1 year), Chemistry/Electronics/Comp Sci/Statistics (1 year); Not eligible if B.Sc (Hons) in Physics/Chemistry.
• TGT (Chemistry/Biology): Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology as Hons/Main subject with subsidiary Chemistry & Botany/Zoology.
• TGT (Computer Science): B.Sc (Comp Sci/IT)/BCA/B.E/B.Tech with 50% marks + B.Ed; OR ‘A’ Level from DOEACC + Graduation.
• PRT (General): 10+2 with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed / 2-year D.Ed (Special Education). CTET Paper-I mandatory.
• PRT (Telugu): 10+2 with Telugu as subject + 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed / 2-year D.Ed with Telugu proficiency.
• PRT (Music): 10+2 with 50% marks + Bachelor’s in Music/Performing Arts (Music as main subject).
• Balvatika Teacher (BVT): 10+2 with 50% marks + 2-year D.E.C.Ed / B.Ed (Nursery) from NCTE recognized institution.

Age as on 01-04-2026:

• Balvatika Teacher (BVT): Maximum 30 years
• Primary Teacher (PRT): Maximum 35 years
• Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Maximum 35 years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• Women: 10 years
• Physically Challenged: As per GoI norms

Mandatory Requirements

• Proficiency in teaching in English medium (except regional language posts).
• Computer knowledge for online classes and tests.
• Retired teachers from KVS, NVS, AEES (below 65 years) eligible for skill test/demo.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a Walk-in Skill Test and Demo Teaching. Candidates are shortlisted under Panel-I, Panel-II, or Panel-III based on qualifications. Only shortlisted candidates appear for the skill test. Original documents are verified on the day of the test.
