Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has released a notification for the recruitment of 200 Technical Officers on Contract basis. This is a prime opportunity for engineering graduates to work with a premier Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

Recruitment Type: This is a Direct Recruitment process based on a Walk-in Interview. There is no written competitive examination (Prelims/Mains) involved.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • General Requirement: B.E./B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. (Relaxation of 5% to 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates).
  • Category-1 (Electronics): B.E./B.Tech in ECE, ETC, E&I, EEE, or Electrical Engineering. Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in Production/Repair/Maintenance/Testing of Electronics/Electrical equipment.
  • Category-2 (IT/CS): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT).
  • Category-3 (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Production. Advantage: Experience in Industrial Production/Operations of EVMs & VVPATs. Basic knowledge of MS Office is required.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

The maximum age limit is 30 years for Unreserved (UR) candidates.

Age calculated as on the date of Walk-in Interview (24-02-2026).

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation (Max 33 years).
  • SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (Max 35 years).
  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): 10 years relaxation (over and above category relaxation) for candidates with minimum 40% disability.
  • J&K Domicile: 5 years relaxation for candidates domiciled in J&K from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989.

Selection Process

The recruitment is based on a Walk-in Interview process. The stages are:

  1. Registration: Candidates must register at the venue.
  2. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates (Educational, Experience, Category, ID Proof).
  3. Personal Interview: Interview to assess technical knowledge and suitability.

Salary / Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend as follows:

  • 1st Year: Rs. 25,000/-
  • 2nd Year: Rs. 28,000/-
  • 3rd & 4th Years: Rs. 31,000/-
