ECHS Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 13 Peon, Chowkidar, Officer and Other Posts

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 13 Peon, Chowkidar, and other Medical & Non-Medical Staff posts on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Officer-in-Charge

• Essential: Reserved for Retired Defence Services Officer. Graduate.
• Experience: Min 05 yrs experience in Health Care Institutions or Managerial positions.

Eligibility for Medical Specialist

• Essential: MD/MS in specialty concerned/ DNB.
• Experience: Min 03 yrs experience in the subject concerned after Post Graduation.

Eligibility for Medical Officer

• Essential: MBBS.
• Experience: Min 03 yrs experience after internship. Preferable additional qualification in medicine/surgery.

Eligibility for Lab Technician

• Essential: BSc (Medical Lab Technology) or Diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a Recognized Institution.
• Experience: Min 03 yrs experience.

Eligibility for Pharmacist

• Essential: B Pharmacy from a recognized institute or approved diploma in pharmacy for an institute recognized by the pharmacy council of India and registered as pharmacist under the pharmacy Act 1948.
• Experience: Min 03 yrs experience.

Eligibility for Dental Assistant

• Essential: Diploma holder in Dental Hyg/ Class-1 DH/DORA course (Armed Forces).
• Experience: Min 05 yrs experience.

Eligibility for Chowkidar

• Essential: Class 8th or GD trade for Armed Forces personnel with Basic Computer Knowledge.

Eligibility for Female Attendant

• Essential: Literate with basic computer knowledge.
• Experience: minimum 05 yrs experience in civil/ Army Health Institution.

Eligibility for Peon

• Essential: Class 8 or GD trade for Armed Forces.
• Experience: minimum 05 yrs work experience.
