Educational Qualification:
i) Master's Degree in Zoology or Marine Biology or Fisheries Science or Oceanography or Industrial Fisheries from a recognized University or equivalent. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries Science of the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai. AND
ii) Ten years experience in survey or research of Marine Fisheries including Cruise Planning and participation in voyages, modern fishing methods, fishery development. DESIRABLE: Doctorate Degree in Zoology or Marine Biology/Oceanography/ Fisheries Science of a recognized University or equivalent. The Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
Pay Scale: INR 78800-209200/- Per Month
Age Limit: 56 years.
