Educational Qualification: M.Sc

Applications are invited only from Indian citizens for the following purely project based temporary positions under various projects at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. The candidate with adequate qualification may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 12.01.2022 at (11:00 A.M onwards). Candidates appearing for Walk-In-Interview must bring all original copies (with xerox copy) of certificates, testimonials, experience etc along with an application.

1. Position: Project Scientist

2. No of Post: 01

3. Emoluments: Rs. 50,000/- PM +HRA

4. Qualification: 

a) Essential: I st class Masters Degree in Life Sciences with 5 years post qualification experience in handling research projects.

b) Desirable: Ph. D. in any of the above fields, Good comprehension and communication skills, well versed with Himalayan Sites, Computer certificate course of minimum 6 month duration, Working experience in the Himalayan region in Projects

5. Position under Project Management Unit (PMU) underMoEF&CC funded Scheme "National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS)"

6. Responsibility: 

I. Efficient coordination of PMU activities

II. Assist in organization of STAG and Steering Committees

III. Help in establishing linkages/coordination with regional units/partners institutions/ organizations

IV. Assist in project monitoring, report writing, synthesis, liaison with other Institution/ Ministries and MoEF&CC, etc.
