Technical Assistant and Various Posts

Number of Vacancy: 07 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Scientist: Doctor of Philosophy in relevant discipline from a recognized University. Good quality publications in SCI journals.

Technical Assistant: 1st Class B.Sc in Natural Science/ Computer Science or equivalent Or 1st Class bachelor’s degree in Social Science Or Dip. in Engg./Tech. of 3 years fulltime duration or its Equivalent in relevant discipline.

Administrative Officer:
i. Degree of a recognized University/Institute.
ii. 5 years experience in Accounts, Administration, Establishment work in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body.

Accounts Officer:
i) Degree of a recognized University/ Institute
ii) 3 Years experience in Cash, Account and Budget work in a Government Office/ PSU /Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body.

Driver:
i) Possession of a valid driving license for motor car,
ii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor-defects in vehicles)
iii) Experience of driving a motor car for at least 3 years, and
iv) Pass in 10th standard.

Pay Scale:
INR
19900-208700/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

Application Fee: Application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 500/- for the Scientific posts and Administrative Officer; Rs. 200/- for other posts should be paid in the form of a Demand Draft in favor of the Director, G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (NIHE), payable at Almora. Payments of fee from any other mode shall not be entertained. No fee will be charged from ST/ SC/ PwD/ Female candidates.
