About Goa State AIDS Control Society

Goa State AIDS Control Society (GSACS) was established in year 1984, under the provision of Directorate of Health Services (DHS), National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), at Health Education Bureau. Keeping view on national Pattern by, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The National AIDS Control Programmes are implemented by AIDS Cell formed under Directorate of Medical Health (DMH),The Society was established with an aim to prevent HIV & AIDS among People. The Goa State AIDS Control Society (GSACS), conduct activities like, Intersectoral Workshop / Media Advocacy Workshops / Sensitization Workshops with Government & Private Schools, Teachers and Students etc.
